Breville Juice Fountain Compact BJE200XL Review - this Breville juicer is not as powerful as the Breville Juice Fountain Elite 800JEXL, however, as its more expensive sibling it has a contemporary design and a large chute. It also includes a one-year warranty, dishwasher-safe parts, and a gray plastic housing. In contrast to the Juice Fountain Elite, it only offers one speed. Despite this, some reviewers rate it higher than the more expensive Juice Fountain Elite for juicing performance, at the same time, praising its ease of use. People who own this machine tend to love it, describing it as very efficient at juice extraction, easy to use, compact and powerful. On a downside, some owners note that it is hard to clean, particularly the internal pulp container that tends to pulp in its seams and trap juice.

The design of this thing is absolutely first rate. Even down to the plug, which has a moulded loop so that it is easy to unplug and plug in! No tool is required to remove the basket, as in most other juicers. Breville uses a combo of ingenious design and magnets to hold it in place!
The pulp on this juicer is a bit wetter than the Jack LaLanne. The "Jack" had a much larger basket and a much slower rotation. I believe that may account for it. But it isn't much wetter - just very slightly.
This juicer makes much smaller pieces of pulp though - and my experience so far has been that it gets just as much juice from a pound of carrots.
Bottom line - I can't imagine anyone not loving this unit.

This is made possible through a surgical-quality stainless steel blade, operating from an internal, High Performance motor, churning at 3,600 rpm. 2) Breville - Breville provides the best juicer product lines when it is concerning pulp / seed filtration. Equipped with a Micro Mesh stainless steel filtration system, the pulp, after extraction, is actually dry and ready for cleaning. Many of the customers who purchased Breville products have said that they have provided the best juicer possible, in the way of pulp extraction. These models also commonly come with a 1 to 5 year warranty – not as good as the lifetime warranty, but still extensive enough that, even if something were to go wrong, you would still get more than your money’s worth.

Make sure you unplug the juicer whenever you are cleaning it. Cleaning up may be a hassle but all components are dishwasher safe and you can just use a mild household detergent. Don't put the base of the power juicer, the part with the motor, in water or into the dishwasher. A little cleanup is well worth the amazing feeling you get knowing that you can make your own juice.
You can make fresh healthy and delicious drinks from the Jack LaLanne s Power Juicer. To keep the Power Juicer working efficiently, it needs to be cleaned after each use. See the instructions below on how to clean the appliance:
Step 1
Turn the Power Juicer OFF and wait until the motor comes to a fully stop before disassembling the unit. Remember to unplug from the AC outlet.
Step 2
Disassemble the juicer. Clean all the part including the pusher, pulp collector and lid with pulp guard, and crescent tool in warm, soapy water. Rinse under warm running water.
Step 3
Remove any stains on the plastic made from high colored fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, strawberries and oranges by applying a small amount of white vinegar or lemon juice on a soft cloth and wipe over the stains.
Step 4
Hold the filter and blade under warm running water. You can use a soft-bristle dish washing brush to gently remove any remaining pulp from the filter. Then rinse the filter from the outside under warm running water.
Step 5
Dry all the parts of the Power Juicer and reassemble. Plug in and turn ON to spin out excess water. Wipe the outside of the base with a damp cloth. Allow to dry thoroughly before storing.

Step 1
Check that all parts are assembled correctly, especially for the stainless steel juicer blade, spout, round chute, and pulp collector. Jack Power Juicer has a built-in device for safety, which means the motor won't run unless all parts are properly assembled.
Step 2
Plug in your Jack LaLannes power juicer into an electrical power source and turn it on using its power switch.
Step 3
Insert the whole fruit or vegetable and send it through the extra-large round chute on top of the juicer. There is no need to peel, chop or slice the food (except for the citrus fruit).
Step 4
Feel and observe the stainless steel blade chopping, slicing, and juicing each fruit or vegetable, and watch the juice flow out from the drip-free spout that helps prevent spills.
Step 5
Inspect for clogs or blocks should the power juicer overflow. Do this by first switching off the machine, wait for the blade to stop spinning and clear the spout of any pulp that may have gone through the filter.
Step 6
Gather all pulp from the detachable pulp collector, and use it as additional ingredients for your carrot cakes, salads, salsa and other sauces

Here I am talking about the safety precautions, giving some personal tips and advice.
So, have you been recently experiencing low energy levels or have put on some weight? You stare into the mirror wondering who that person is? Well, perhaps, it is a good time to change your whole lifestyle. Hopefully, as part of that lifestyle change, you have decided to exercise more on a regular basis and make change in your eating habits by making use of the power juicer.
First off, let's talk about Safety Precautions.
This appliance uses sharp blades, so it is important to follow specific safety instructions when operating
and cleaning this device. Always keep your power juicer away from kids - never let them operate it.
Moreover, when you put the fruit into the chute it is important not to push the food into the chamber with the fingers, hands or kitchen utensils. Instead, use a plunger to push the fruit into the chute.
Another precaution is to turn the unit off, if the food becomes stuck in it. Don't try to get the stuck food out while the appliance is still running.
Now, some General Tips before you start using your Power Juicer.
1. Wash all fruits and vegetables before juicing: well, some people don't.
2. Do not try to juice bananas or avocadoes: they do not have any juice and clog up the machine. If you want to make a smoothie, add the banana to the fruit juices in a blender. Other “no-nos” include coconut, eggplant, leek, rhubarb and winter squash.
3. Remove all stems: with the Power Juicer this is not really necessary but, I think that it is probably wise to remove the stems anyway in order to extend the life of the blades and motor.
4. When using leafy greens, roll the leaves into a ball before juicing. Greens do not contain a ton of juice, so getting them into a compact form before they go into the Power Juicer improves the efficiency of the process.
5. Put a plastic grocery sack in the pulp collector. The pulp collector is much easier to clean if you can just remove the bag and throw the pulp away.
6. Alternate soft and hard produce. For the best results, always follow a soft item, like peaches or mangos, with hard produce like a carrot.
7. Peel citrus fruits before juicing. Citrus fruit peels are very bitter. You don’t want that stuff in your juice.

I have always been skeptical of any product advertised on TV; but I was wrong about the power juicer. The speed of the machine is incredible, along with its quiet operation, and the ability to juice almost any fruit or vegetable I can imagine is simply wonderful. Also, the range of uses for the pulp seems to be never ending.
